A day of learning, health awareness, and community engagement!

The Pharmacy Interns of Batch RxCalibur from the Universidad de Zamboanga โ€“ Pagadian Campus Pharmacy Department joined the World Pharmacist Day 2026 celebration held at Barangay Kalasan, Pagadian City, with the theme โ€œEmpowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures.โ€

The celebration was hosted by the Philippine Pharmacists Association โ€“ Zamboanga del Sur-Pagadian Chapter (PPHA ZDSPC) and was attended by members of the Barangay Kalasan community, pharmacy professionals, and pharmacy students.

The activity featured educational discussions on the 10 halamang gamot, their uses and health benefits, as well as doxycycline and important information on its proper and responsible use.

Through this community-based activity, Batch RxCalibur had the opportunity to engage with the community and take part in promoting health education and awareness. The celebration also highlighted the role of pharmacists in making reliable health information more accessible to the communities they serve.

A meaningful celebration of the pharmacy profession through knowledge, service, and community connection. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’Š
