To adapt cutting-edge teaching practices, the Top Management, Deans, Principals, and Unit Heads of Saint Columban College (SCC) conducted an intensive Benchmarking and Recreation Activity across South Korea from May 17 to 21, 2026.
The exclusive trip exposed the SCC delegation to world-class academic environments, rich historical culture, and strategic team-building exercises in Seoul and neighboring areas.
A core focus of the learning exchange involved a comprehensive visit to Chadwick International School, allowing the administrators to observe modern K-12 facilities and examine the practical integration of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom.
The group also toured the Incheon Global Campus to analyze the international degree pathways offered by the University of Utah.
Balancing academic rigor with essential leisure, the itinerary gave the SCC leaders profound cultural appreciation through curated visits to iconic historical landmarks and scenic nature spots.
Camaraderie deepened as the delegates shared authentic Korean culinary experiences and collaborative activities throughout the trip.
This extensive overseas program materialized alongside SCCโs commitment to youth empowerment, as the administration formally delegated campus operations to the SCC Grand Student Council prior to departure.
For the duration of the international travel, selected student leaders successfully managed the institution for Student Leadersโ Week, experiencing the true weight of governance and ethical responsibility.
A Culmination Ceremony upon the administration's return signified the official handback of duties, confirming that the student body effectively embodied the institutionโs core values of wisdom, justice, and charity.
