This is to clarify that the individual involved in the incident is not an officially enrolled student of Southern Mindanao Colleges – College of Teacher Education.

Earlier today, we spoke with the individual’s mother. According to her, the individual was wearing a departmental shirt that had been borrowed by his younger sibling for their High School Career Guidance activity, and it was this same borrowed shirt that the individual wore during the incident. She also confirmed that the individual has already stopped attending school and is no longer studying.

For clarity and to prevent misinformation, we emphasize that the individual concerned has no academic affiliation with Southern Mindanao Colleges – College of Teacher Education.

We encourage everyone to practice responsible sharing of information and to continue upholding respect, understanding, and integrity within our community.
