A group of first and second year law students took part in an Educational Field Trip across Mindanao, exploring various legal institutions and widening their perspectives beyond the traditional borders of classroom learning.

The academic tour featured meaningful visits and engagements across key institutions in Mindanao:

• Association of Law Students in the Philippines (ALSP) - Davao City
Formal entry as the newest member institution of the organization, where the delegation received a warm welcome from the Mindanao law student community.

• A visit to the Office of the Ombudsman – Mindanao (Davao City)

• Hall of Justice – Malaybalay City, Bukidnon
An insightful visit to the chambers of Judge Edwin Tomon, where the delegation was warmly received, inspired by his legal journey and steadfast commitment to public service.

• Bukidnon State University – College of Law
A meaningful academic exchange graciously hosted by Dean Ophelia Pilar Rubio, fostering camaraderie and shared aspirations among future members of the legal profession.

• Court of Appeals – Mindanao Station (Cagayan de Oro City)
Graciously joined by Atty. Shayne Bance-Abrigana, the delegation visited the Court of Appeals–Mindanao Station to initiate discussions for a possible Legal Internship Program, opening doors to broader professional opportunities and practical legal training.

More than a tour, the Educational Field Trip served as a journey into wider legal forums and professional spaces—equipping future lawyers with the perspective, adaptability, and network necessary to thrive in an increasingly dynamic legal landscape across the country.
