The SKSU Guidance and Testing Center introduces its free psychological services to the University community (students and employees) to make counseling service more convenient and accessible to students and personnel. By filling up the google form, it will connect you to your Psychologist and/or Guidance Counselors to help you address your issues and concerns related to your mental health and guide you to achieve positive well-being and maximize your potentials.

𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀:
A. Mental Health Consultation – A clinical interview to assess the client’s current mental health needs. Based on the findings, appropriate recommendations and referrals will be provided.

B. Psychological Screening – Conducted alongside the mental health consultation, this initial assessment aims to identify concerns related to psychological functioning.

C. Referral – If the client’s needs cannot be addressed by the Center, the psychologist or counselor will coordinate with other professionals to provide appropriate support.

D. Counseling – Offers support for individuals dealing with common developmental and life challenges such as adjustment issues, family problems, stress, grief, and relationship concerns.

E. Psychotherapy – Provides treatment for clients experiencing moderate to severe psychological issues or internal psychological conflicts, including symptoms of psychiatric or psychological disorders.

F. Group Therapy – Supports clients in managing psychological challenges within a group setting, alongside others with similar experiences or concerns.

Sultan Kudarat State University announces that 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 has been declared as official rest days for all personnel, pursuant to 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒎 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒐. 𝟕𝟎, 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, issued by the Office of the University President. This declaration follows the successful conduct of the ISO 9001:2015 Audit on April 27–28, 2026, marking another milestone in the university’s commitment to quality management and continuous improvement. Meanwhile, on April 30, 2026, regular work will resume under the work-from-home arrangement.

The Sultan Kudarat State University – Palimbang Campus has successfully completed its 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟐 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭 for 𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝟗𝟎𝟎𝟏:𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, marking a significant milestone in its pursuit of quality assurance and institutional excellence.

The audit, conducted off-site from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, evaluated the campus’s compliance with international standards for quality management systems. This stage is particularly critical, as it assesses the actual implementation, effectiveness, and sustainability of documented processes across academic and administrative operations.

The success of the audit was attributed to the collective effort and strong collaboration among faculty members and administrative staff, who demonstrated preparedness, coherence in documentation, and alignment with ISO standards. Their performance reflected the campus’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality education and efficient public service.

Guided by the leadership and support of 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐋. 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐨, the institution ensured that all required processes, records, and quality mechanisms were effectively presented during the audit.

The auditee, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐔. 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬, Program Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, played a key role in facilitating the audit process. Under his coordination, the program demonstrated adherence to quality standards, particularly in instructional delivery, documentation practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

April 27, 2026 — The faculty, staff, and students of Sultan Kudarat State University–Palimbang Campus gathered at the open field fronting the academic building for the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony.

This week’s ceremony carried special significance as it coincided with the opening day of the ISO audit, a milestone in the campus’s pursuit of quality assurance and continuous improvement. Led by the Campus Director, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐋. 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐨, the event highlighted the values of discipline, unity, and institutional pride. The Philippine flag was raised with solemnity, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem and the recitation of the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat.

After the formal rites, the faculty and staff reminded the campus community of the importance of the ISO audit in strengthening SKSU’s systems and processes. The gathering served not only as a patriotic exercise but also as a symbolic gesture of readiness and collective commitment to uphold international standards.

The ceremony concluded with words of encouragement for faculty, staff, and students to actively support the audit process, ensuring that SKSU–Palimbang continues to embody excellence in education and service.

During the ceremony, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐋. 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐨, formally welcomed the newly hired faculty member of the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB), Sir Jay Vee Salazar. In his brief message, Sir Salazar expressed his sincere gratitude to the campus for the warm reception and conveyed his commitment to contribute meaningfully to the institution. Meanwhile, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐄. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨 recognized and congratulated the campus representatives who participated in the recent inter-campus meet, with special commendation given to the teams who proudly brought home gold medals, highlighting the campus’s excellence in various fields.

Sultan Kudarat State University–Palimbang Campus proudly welcomes 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐕𝐞𝐞 𝐒. 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫 as a newly hired Contract of Service (COS) faculty member under the BSAB program.

A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management from Mindanao State University–General Santos, Salazar is also a Registered Agriculturist (2025) and served as a Philippines Ambassador at the 2024 OR Seeding the Future ASEAN Camp in Bangkok, Thailand.

His academic excellence, professional credentials, and international exposure reflect SKSU’s commitment to cultivating globally competent educators and future-ready leaders in agricultural development.
