The Bonded Information Technology Students successfully held its 2nd General Assembly and Election yesterday, April 29, 2026, at the PIT Gymnasium.

The morning session featured the Miting de Avance, presentation of accomplishment reports, and an open forum where members raised feedback and concerns. The afternoon session was dedicated to the election of new BITS officers, conducted by the COMSELEC through a fair and orderly democratic process.

The event reinforced transparency, accountability, and student participation within the IT Department. Thank you to all IT students who exercised their right to vote and shape the future of BITS.

INTER CAMPUS CODING COMPETITION 2026
The Bonded Information Technology Students successfully hosted the "Inter Campus CODING Competition 2026" yesterday, April 27, 2026, at the ICT Laboratory from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The event brought together BSIT students from the PIT Main Campus and PIT Tabango Campus, providing a platform to showcase programming skills, algorithmic thinking, and problemโ€‘solving under time pressure. A total of 14 student coders competed individually, supported by officers from both BITS and the Intent Organization.

The competition also strengthened the partnership between the two campuses, promoting inclusivity and academic excellence. All participants received certificates, and the top three coders were awarded cash prizes.

Special thanks to Mr. Rogelio G. Urboda Jr. for the system and technical support that ensured the smooth operation of the competition.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and raised the bar for coding excellence at PIT!
