The Bonded Information Technology Students (BITS) Organization officially opens its BITS Official Pet Character Contest, inviting all bona fide Information Technology students of Palompon Institute of Technology to showcase their creativity and design a character that represents the identity, values, and spirit of the IT student community.

Participants are encouraged to create an original pet character incorporating elements related to Information Technology and the BITS Organization. Complete submission requirements and contest guidelines are available through the link below.

PRIZES:
🥇 1st Place — ₱1,000
🥈 2nd Place — ₱500
🥉 3rd Place — ₱300

𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣𝗦 𝗨𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦

Safety starts with knowing what to do when every second matters.

The Information Technology Department of Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) took part in the 3rd Quarter 2026 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on September 10, 2026, joining the PIT community in strengthening its readiness for possible seismic emergencies.

More than simply an institutional activity, the drill highlighted the importance of discipline, awareness, and cooperation in protecting one another during times of emergency. Through active participation, the IT Department continues to contribute to a campus community that is prepared to respond, recover, and keep safety a shared priority.

No dry clothes. No regrets.

On September 2, 2026, the students of Palompon Institute of Technology gathered at the PIT Oval Grounds for this year’s Acquaintance Party, bringing the vibrant and refreshing spirit of the Songkran Festival to life.

With water guns in hand and spirits high, students came ready to make a splash — quite literally. The night was filled with spontaneous water splashes, laughter, and unforgettable moments as everyone embraced the playful spirit of the celebration.

More than just a night of getting soaked, the occasion was a celebration of friendship, camaraderie, and connection. It brought students together beyond the classroom, giving everyone the chance to meet new faces, strengthen bonds, and create memories to carry throughout the school year.

𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓, 𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

The Bonded Information Technology Students Organization (BITS) successfully took its oath of office and formally pledged its commitment to serve the BITS organization for the School Year 2026–2027 during the Induction Ceremony held on September 2, 2026, at the PIT Gymnasium.

The ceremony brought together BITS alongside other affiliated organizations, non-affiliated organizations, and accredited clubs, marking a significant occasion as student leaders formally accepted their responsibilities and committed themselves to serving their respective organizations and the student body.

As BITS begins another year of service, may its officers continue to work together with purpose, professionalism, and unity—strengthening the organization and creating opportunities that empower and benefit the IT student community.

As part of the celebration of the 54th Charter Anniversary of Palompon Institute of Technology, all participants are reminded to come prepared for the Charter Anniversary Parade.

Time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Venue: PIT Oval

To ensure everyone’s comfort, safety, and preparedness throughout the parade, participants are encouraged to bring the following essentials:

Water – Stay hydrated throughout the activity.
Towel – For personal comfort and convenience.
Sunscreen – Protect your skin from prolonged sun exposure.
Umbrella – For protection from the heat and sun.
Fan/Mini Fan – To help keep you cool during the activity.

The Bonded Information Technology Students Organization (BITS) will be opening its Photo Booth from August 31 to September 1, 2026, in celebration of the 54th Charter Anniversary of Palompon Institute of Technology.

Students, faculty, and guests are invited to visit the Photo Booth and capture memorable moments with friends and fellow members of the PIT community.

𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, 𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗢𝗞 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔

Matagumpay na isinagawa noong Agosto 28, 2026 ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa PIT Gymnasium, na nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Departamento ng Information Technology, na may temang, “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, isinagawa ang iba’t ibang patimpalak na nagbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga mag-aaral na maipamalas ang kanilang talento, husay, pagkamalikhain, at kumpiyansa sa paggamit ng wikang Filipino. Kabilang sa mga patimpalak ang Pagkukwento, Dagliang Talumpati, Monologo, Pandalawahang Pag-arte, at Sabayang Pagbigkas.

Aktibong nakilahok ang mga mag-aaral mula sa Departamento ng Information Technology, kabilang sina G. Ivann James Ruizo sa Pagkukwento, Bb. Jelianne Coste sa Monologo, Bb. Richeal Baring sa Pandalawahang Pag-arte, at sina Althea Joy Biore at Jonna Mae Malbasias sa Sabayang Pagbigkas.

Sa kanilang pakikilahok, ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ng Information Technology ang kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino, habang pinagtitibay ang ugnayan ng wika, edukasyon, at makabagong teknolohiya.
