The newly elected officers of the Federal Student Government (FSG), particularly the Cabinet and the Legislative Department, convened for their inaugural meeting via Google Meet on July 7, 2026.

The meeting commenced at 1:05 P.M. and concluded at 2:08 P.M., presided over by FSG President Johannah Aliah Beltran.

This inaugural meeting marked the official commencement of operational planning for the Federal Student Government for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027. During the meeting, crucial matters were discussed, reflecting the collaboration, commitment, and shared vision of the FSG officers in promoting responsive and effective student leadership for the benefit of the entire DNSC student body.

From complaining about waking up early for 7 AM classes to slowly realizing what the next step in life would be, the journey has never been easy. Back then, exams, recitations, projects, and final requirements were the only things to worry about. Yet for those who chose to lead, the weight was never theirs alone to carry. Beyond academics came the responsibility of serving others, balancing personal aspirations with the welfare of the students they represented, learning to stand firm amid criticism, and choosing to lead even when no one saw the sacrifices behind the title. As time goes by, the challenges become heavierโ€”not knowing what path lies ahead, what kind of person you will become, and whether you're truly secure in pursuing the life you've always wanted. But if being a student leader has taught you anything, it is that courage is not the absence of uncertainty, but the willingness to keep moving forward despite it, carrying with you the same passion, resilience, and heart that once made a difference within the walls of your campus.

From the Office of the Federal Student Government to our former officers who have graduated, a simple congratulations will never be enough to honor the struggles you faced as student leadersโ€”juggling academics, organizational responsibilities, and family obligations, yet still making it happen. Beyond the titles and recognitions, your greatest achievement was the service you rendered and the impact you left on the entire student body. On behalf of every student whose voices you amplified and whose welfare you prioritized, we extend our deepest gratitude for fulfilling your roles with dedication, integrity, and compassion.
