𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 | Updates on Instructional Materials Development and Training Workshop on PUP STAR and Learning Management System (LMS) Use: A Series of PUP Paranaque City Campus

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Parañaque Campus successfully conducted the second day of the Updates on Instructional Materials Development and Training Workshop on PUP STAR and Learning Management System (LMS) Use at the Audio Visual Room, on April 24, 2026.

Building on the discussions from the first day, faculty participants continued to engage in in-depth sessions focused on the enhancement of instructional materials and the effective utilization of the Learning Management System in teaching and learning delivery.

The workshop highlighted practical applications of LMS tools, assessment design strategies, and the strengthening of digital teaching approaches aligned with the university’s academic objectives. Through interactive discussions, workshops, and open forums, resource speakers and facilitators encouraged active participation and meaningful exchange of ideas among faculty members.

The program concluded with evaluation activities and a reaffirmation of commitment to innovative, technology-driven, and effective instruction through LMS integration.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 | Updates on Instructional Materials Development and Training Workshop on PUP STAR and Learning Management System (LMS) Use: A Series of PUP Paranaque City Campus

Faculty members of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Parañaque City Campus gathered at the Audio-Visual Room for the first day of the Instructional Materials (IM) Development and Learning Management System (LMS) Training Workshop on April 23, 2026.

The full-day activity brought together faculty members for a series of lectures and collaborative discussions aimed at strengthening instructional practices and enhancing the use of digital learning platforms.

The program opened with insightful remarks from Dr. Elmer G. De Jose, RPm, RPsy, Director of UTLDO, who also discussed Table of Specification and Item Analysis. This was followed by a message from Campus Director Atty. Ernesto C. Salao, LLM, emphasizing the importance of continuous academic development and innovation in teaching.

Further discussions included updates on Instructional Materials Development by Asst. Prof. Algene M. De Guzman, while Assoc. Prof. MC Donald Domingo M. Pascual tackled Grading Systems and Rubrics. Announcements and reminders were also delivered by Assoc. Prof. Ann-Lyn O. Vinuya.

We are beyond grateful to the University Teaching and Learning Development Office headed by Dr. Elmer De Jose for coming to our humble campus to conduct this kind of Training/Workshop that really helped our faculty members to utilize AI and Learning Management System to provide better system of learning to our students and continuous quality education.

The activity concluded with an evaluation session and photo opportunities, highlighting the commitment of the faculty to collaboration, improvement, and academic excellence in the use of LMS and instructional materials.
