“Compassion is love in action.” 💜💜💜
In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Inday, the Social Work Department, led by Prof. Julius R. Manalo, RSW-Social Work Department Head together with his wife along with Ms. Norhamia Silongan, LPT,Mr. Franklyn B. Reyes, and social work students reached out to families whose lives were greatly affected by the disaster.
Despite the long journey, rough roads, and the challenges of reaching remote communities, our dedicated Social Work students never wavered. With willing hearts and unwavering compassion, they carried relief goods to those who needed them most, reminding us that true service is measured not by convenience but by the willingness to help, no matter how difficult the path.
To our incredible students, thank you for your selfless hearts, your sacrifice, and your commitment to serving others. You are the living embodiment of the values of the Social Work profession, and we are truly proud of each one of you.
To Hon. Raga T. Beda, Hon. Alexa Ashley Tomawis, Hon. Zul Fiqar Ali, Mrs. Saima Dagalangit, Ms. Aileen Samson, SND Pharmacy, Aakifah Pharmacy, Ndp batch 95 and to everyone who generously shared their blessings through donations, prayers, and support, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness became food for the hungry, hope for the weary, and comfort for families striving to recover. This mission would not have been possible without your generosity.
Together, we proved that even in the darkest moments, compassion shines the brightest. May we continue to be instruments of hope, healing, and humanity wherever we are called to serve.
Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. May God bless you abundantly. 🤍
