The Society of Marine Biology Students proudly took part in the Mangrove Planting Activity held on today, May 6, 2026 in Sitio Sarimao, Barangay Caranan, Pasacao, Camarines Sur. This meaningful activity brought together students and community members with one goal to help protect and restore our coastal environment. Mangroves play an important role in preventing coastal erosion, serving as a home for marine life and helping maintain the balance of our ecosystem. By planting mangroves, we are not only caring for nature today but also helping secure a better and safer future for the next generations.
The Society of Marine Biology Students also extends its sincere appreciation to the proponent of this activity, headed by Mayor Niรฑo A. Tayco, for leading initiatives that promote environmental protection and community involvement. Such efforts inspire the youth to take part in caring for our natural resources through this participation the organization continues to show its commitment to environmental awareness, conservation and active community involvement. Simple actions like this remind us that small efforts, when done together, can create a big impact.
Let us continue to work hand in hand in protecting our environment and preserving the beauty of our coastal communities. ๐ฑ๐
