The Student Plebiscite on the proposed Revised Constitution and Bylaws of the NU MOA SHS Student Council is hereby postponed following a formal objection raised by a member of the student body.

In light of the concerns raised, the Student Council and the Ad Hoc Committee on Constitutional Revision will hold a special session to hear the petition and further review and deliberate on the issues identified, ensuring the integrity and transparency of the processes involved in this matter.

We acknowledge the oversight and sincerely thank the student body for its understanding, patience, and continued participation. The new plebiscite schedule will be announced upon completion of the review.

Following the adoption of Resolution No. 02, s. 2026โ€“2027, the Ad Hoc Committee has adopted ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘, ๐ฌ. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”โ€“๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•, establishing a ๐’๐ฎ๐›๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ž ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ญ๐ž to oversee and administer the ratification of the proposed revised Constitution and Bylaws.

This subcommittee is created to provide a designated body to properly manage the plebiscite. With no existing Commission on Elections (COMELEC) or equivalent student electoral body within the Senior High School Department, the subcommittee will take on the responsibility of ensuring that the voting process is organized, impartial, transparent, and accountable.

Through this, the Ad Hoc Committee aims to uphold the principles of fair and democratic student governance not only in its revision process, but also in the ratification of the proposed revised Constitution and Bylaws.
