The' Scouts Royale Brotherhood is an Organization for High School students which was founded at the back of San Sebastian Collage Churchyard on September 22, 1975 by the members of the Greek letter fraternity the Alpha Phi Omega (Alpha Delta chapter) by Len Toledo, B**g Manuel, Jun Cristobal, Vic Tomelden and Oscar "Cary" Lazo as National Adviser, With 37 chartered members lead by Vicente
(Bing)Marabut "Il Duce". The main purpose is to promulgate and expand the principles of Alpha Phi Omega which is LEADERSHIP FRIENDSHIP and SERVICE. Vicente Marabut SRB Il Duce
From being a fraternity exclusively for high school students, SRB evolved and developed into an independent international service fraternity catering to both high school and college students. While it evolved to be an independent and separate entity to that of Alpha Phi Omega(APO), SRB is a consistent ally and friend of all APO brothers united by a common and undeniable fraternal bloodline as well as optimum principles such as developing effective and democratic leadership, fostering friendship and rendering service to all and also was registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Reg. The 70s in the history of the Philippines are full of violence that involves youths and students. It all started in the First Quarter Storm on January 1970, from thereon, the violence became worst in Metro Manila due to the violence between the activist students, youths and policemen that paves the way to the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines. Peace and order have been noticed for the meantime but only for a short period, after awhile, violence have started again, but not between activist demonstrators and the Philippine government,but because of Fraternity Wars between Alpha Phi Omega, Beta Sigma, and other fraternities in different colleges and universities in Metro Manila.
