In celebration of 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, the UA&P Department of History welcomes 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗚. 𝗥𝘂𝗶𝘇 and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲 from the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻, for a day of lectures exploring the historical, cultural, and environmental connections that have shaped societies across the Philippines, the Americas, Europe, and the Pacific.

Today, we remember 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 “𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆” 𝗦. 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿. and honor his life, courage, and enduring contribution to the Filipino nation.

May his example remind us of the importance of standing for what is right, serving others, and working toward a better future for our country.
