The Arts Department extends its sincere appreciation to Ar. Timothy Ong for delivering an insightful talk on architecture, archaeology, and landscapes last November 12, Wednesday.

His discussion deepened our understanding of how landscapes and cultural heritage intersect in shaping our collective memory and identity.

The Arts Department warmly invites everyone to a talk entitled โ€œArchitecture, Landscape, and Archaeology: Making Sense of the Past.โ€

Delivered by Ar. Timothy Ong, this talk will explore the relationship between architecture, heritage, and archaeology, and how these fields contribute to our understanding of history and cultural identity.

Join us in uncovering how spaces and structures communicate the stories of the past and shape our understanding of cultural heritage.

The Arts Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the "Voices in Silver: Artisan Narratives and the Continuity of Pinukpuk" demonstration and workshop held yesterday, October 15, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dizon Auditorium.

Our sincere thanks to the FAVA students of Ms. Mairene Leynes who volunteered, the faculty members who supported the event, Mr. Ros Amosco of the NCCA, Mr. Joel Mallari, and most especially to our distinguished speaker, Mr. Eduardo Mutuc Jr., for shedding light on the artistry and cultural depth of Pinukpuk.

The Arts Department extends their deepest gratitude to Mrs. Pia Soriano-Gatdula (Pia Art Atelier) for sharing her time, knowledge, and expertise in her talk on Iconography yesterday, April 3, at the CAS 203 room. Her insights have truly deepened and enriched our appreciation on iconography and its spiritual significance.

The Arts Department would like to invite the UA&P community to an Art Talk on Iconography by Mrs. Pia Soriano-Gatdula.
