Here’s a recap of the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐒) 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, organized by the 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 for our Civil Engineering, Accountancy, and Management Accounting students, with the active support and assistance of 𝐒𝐁𝐍𝐔 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 throughout the event.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the NU East Ortigas Community Extension Office for organizing this meaningful and informative training, equipping students with essential life-saving knowledge and skills that can make a difference during emergencies. We are equally grateful for the trust placed in 𝐒𝐁𝐍𝐔 and the opportunity to contribute to the success of this meaningful initiative.

This training serves as a powerful reminder that 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. More than just gaining knowledge, this experience inspires us to act with courage, compassion, and confidence when faced with emergencies.

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) Held Their Monthly Meeting with the SDAO

The RSO Monthly Meeting was held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Board Room, bringing together the presidents of various Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) from the Senior High School, College, University-wide and Independent organizations.

The meeting served as an opportunity for organizational leaders to reconnect through a kumustahan, discuss important reminders for RSO Presidents, and review upcoming activities, including Psychology Week, STEM Week, University Week, and Tourism Week.

Other reminders were also discussed, including the NUEO Community Group Page Process, creation of official pages for newly recognized organizations, community extension collaborations, and SHS consent requirements for drug testing. The meeting also provided a venue for organization presidents to raise concerns, share updates, and discuss other matters related to their respective organizations.

Ms. Maria Ravina R. Das, SDAO Coordinator, led the discussion on organizational updates, policies, and upcoming initiatives. Ms. Nicole Ann A. Dadulla, SDAO Assistant, facilitated reminders and organizational concerns, while Mr. Dominic Zarate, SDAO Representative, joined the discussion and provided support in addressing concerns raised by the organization presidents.

The final day of RISE 2026 marked a meaningful milestone as our student leaders formally took their Oath of Office, embracing their responsibilities and commitment to serve the Nationalian community.

Held at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), the Oath Taking Ceremony served as a symbol of trust, accountability, and the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership. With the lessons and experiences gained throughout RISE 2026, our student leaders are now ready to step forward and lead with purpose.
