The College of Business Administration and Accountancy officially commenced CBAA Fest 2026 on May 23, 2026 at the CBAA Grounds, marking the beginning of a two-day celebration dedicated to camaraderie, sportsmanship, academic excellence, and student engagement.
The festivities opened with a formal program that brought together students, faculty members, and staff to kick off one of the college's most anticipated annual activities. The opening ceremony set the tone for a day filled with excitement, participation, and healthy competition. Also among the participants was Hja. Famy Alfad, former Dean of the College of Business Administration and Computer Studies (CBACS), who joined one of the competing teams during the festivities, highlighting her enduring support for and connection with the college community.
Following the opening program, the four participating teams took center stage for the Yelling Competition, where they proudly showcased their creativity, coordination, and team spirit through energetic chants and performances. The activity immediately ignited enthusiasm among participants and spectators alike, creating an atmosphere of unity and excitement.
The celebration then continued with the Live Quiz Show, where teams demonstrated their knowledge, critical thinking abilities, and teamwork in a competitive academic challenge. The event provided an engaging platform for participants to showcase their intellect while fostering friendly competition among the teams. At the conclusion of the morning activities, free lunch was distributed to all participants.
The afternoon session commenced with a series of parlor games, beginning with โPass the Message,โ which was facilitated by the CBAASA Officers. The succeeding games were hosted by Prof. Rolly Tolentino and Prof. Halben Benson, whose enthusiasm, humor, and dynamic interaction with participants brought additional energy to the celebration. Their entertaining style of hosting kept the crowd engaged and transformed the games into one of the most memorable highlights of the day.
As the day progressed, the spotlight shifted to the much-awaited โMagpasikatโ Talent Show, which featured seven entries showcasing the talents, creativity, and confidence of CBAA students. Through captivating performances and impressive displays of artistry, the participants demonstrated the diverse talents within the college community. The competition became one of the major highlights of the celebration, drawing support and appreciation from the audience.
The successful conclusion of Day 1 reflected the enthusiasm, participation, and cooperation of students, faculty members, staff, and organizers who came together to celebrate the values of unity, excellence, and school spirit. Through engaging competitions, memorable performances, and meaningful interactions, the first day of CBAA Fest 2026 laid the foundation for an unforgettable two-day celebration.
