The College of Computer Studies (CCS) officially inducted its incoming student officials earlier today, September 25, 2026, during a joint proclamation and oath-taking ceremony. Anchored on the theme "Ready to Serve: Empowering the Next Generation of CCS Student Leaders," the event commenced at 1:30 PM, marking a new chapter of leadership and governance for the college's student body.
The program officially commenced with an Invocation led by Mr. Abdusali, followed immediately by the singing of National Anthem opening address by Prof. Adzlan P. Hamsaji, MPA, who welcomed the student leaders, faculty advisors, and attendees. He set an inspiring tone for the afternoon, emphasizing that leadership is a profound commitment to the welfare of the studentry.
Following the opening remarks, the room was given to the keynote speakers who shared critical insights on building an impactful student government. Datu Al-mujiv A. Kiram, MIT, Dean of the College of Computing Studies, challenged the incoming officers to lead with integrity and to utilize their platforms to elevate the college's standards. Complementing this vision, Mr. Jonel T. Alibasa, MIT, Whitehat Adviser, spoke on the power of teamwork, encouraging the officers to bridge the gap between technical expertise and compassionate public service.
The highlight of the event took place as Prof. Adzlan P. Hamsaji, MPA, acting in his capacity as the Electoral Board Chairperson, officially took the floor for the Proclamation. He formally presented the winning candidates, validating the democratic voice of the CCS student body.
Immediately following their proclamation, the new student leaders stood with raised hands to officially bind themselves to their duties. Dean Datu Al-mujiv A. Kiram, MIT, administered the Oath of Office. The room echoed with the solemn promises of the CCS SB and Whitehat officers, marking the formal beginning of their administrative terms.
As the afternoon drew to a close, Mr. Adzmar A. Ahamad delivered the closing remarks. He thanked everyone who made the election and the induction program a success, reminding the officers that the true work begins tomorrow.
With the ceremony concluded, the newly minted CCS SB and Whitehat officers stand unitedโfully equipped and ready to serve the student body with renewed vision and dedication.
