𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The College of Pharmacy, in partnership with the College of Physical Therapy, successfully conducted an outreach program at Quibal Kindergarten Center, Peñablanca, Cagayan, on July 29, 2026.

With the theme, “Clean, Play, Learn. Be Kindergarten Ready!: Fostering Healthy, Active, School-Ready Kids,” the program promoted school readiness through proper handwashing demonstrations, interactive games, and the distribution of school supplies.

The initiative was made possible through the collaboration of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Quibal and the dedicated support of the faculty members of the Colleges of Pharmacy and Physical Therapy.

‎July 27, 2026 | The College of Pharmacy of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) successfully conducted its annual Orientation Program, warmly welcoming new and returning pharmacy students as the Academic Year 2026–2027 officially began.
‎
‎The program started with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the MCNP Hymn.
‎
‎Program Coordinator 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐏. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the students with the inspiring message, “𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆.” She also introduced the College of Pharmacy's mission, vision, and academic policies, reminding students of the college's commitment to excellence, integrity, and academic success.

‎The faculty members then gave informative presentations. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚 𝐏. 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐳, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, discussed the college's research and community extension programs, encouraging students to take part in research and community service. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐏𝐀 discussed the Code of Student Conduct, reminding students about discipline, professionalism, and responsible behaviour.

‎Meanwhile, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, explained the laboratory rules and regulations to help students maintain a safe and organised learning environment.

‎The program also featured the presentation of the newly elected officers of the Guild of Pharmacy Students led by the current Chairman 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧., followed by their formal induction, marking the start of their journey as student leaders.

‎More than just an orientation, the event showed the College of Pharmacy's commitment to preparing competent, compassionate, and globally competitive future pharmacists while promoting excellence, professionalism, leadership, service, and unity.

𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 | A Three-Day Journey Toward Becoming Future Registered Pharmacists

On Day 1, freshmen participated in their classroom orientation, which included a tour of the new Pharmacy Laboratories, a cosmetic presentation, and viewing of promotional videos.

The activities continued on Day 2 at the MCNP-ISAP Gymnasium, where freshmen joined the General Welcome and Guidance Orientation Program (Part A).

The orientation concluded on Day 3 with Part B of the Guidance Orientation Program, equipping students with essential knowledge and support services as they embark on their academic journey.
