The boys of Takepan High School have once again proven that they belong among the best!

Congratulations to Arkin L. Igcalinos, Jaymar M. Lamcerin, Faradz Wali B. Musa, and Larry A. Wamilda Jr., who proudly represented Congressional District 1 and battled their way to the top in the 3x3 Basketball Boys Championship Game of the Provincial Meet 2026 held on September 11, 2026, at the Amas Provincial Gym.

And now, the journey continues.

This victory would not have been possible without the unwavering support, guidance, and sacrifices of the people behind the team. A heartfelt THANK YOU to their dedicated coaches, JAMELLYN T. BONGCAWEL and ANDREW M. BALIENTES, for molding these athletes not only into better basketball players but also into disciplined, determined, and confident young men.

Nakikiisa ang Takepan High School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang:

“WIKANG FILIPINO AT AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Bilang hudyat ng pagbubukas ng selebrasyon, nagsagawa ang Filipino Club ng isang makabuluhang Pambungad na Palatuntunan, na sinundan ng isang masaya at kapana-panabik na Trivia Question Activity. Layunin ng mga gawaing ito na higit pang mapaigting ang kaalaman, pagpapahalaga, at pagmamahal ng mga mag-aaral sa wikang Filipino, kasabay ng pag-unawa sa mahalagang papel ng AI bilang katuwang sa pananaliksik at paglinang ng impormasyon.

SPIRIT OF COMPETITION IGNITED AT TAKEPAN HIGH

The grounds of Takepan High School came alive today as the school launched Intramurals 2026 with its Opening Program.

Representing the spirit of the school are four competing teams: the Blazing Maroon Tigers, Alpha Gray Wolves, Black Python, and Blue Jaguar.

As athletes take the field, the entire Takepan community stands united under one banner:
One School. One Goal. One Spirit.

Today at exactly 7:37 AM, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck 13 kilometers southwest off the coast of General Santos City, according to PHIVOLCS. The earthquake was felt across several parts of Mindanao and nearby provinces.
