The Food Technology Licensure Examination (FTLE) Passers of 2026 were proudly recognized during the 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 held on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲) at the 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐨-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 – 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 (𝐀𝐏𝐅𝐓𝐂). The event celebrated their dedication, perseverance, and achievement in successfully passing the 2026 FTLE.

The celebration continued with a meaningful 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 at 𝐒𝐭. The election of the new Food Technology Society Officers was successfully held on September 9, 2026, at the Agro-Processing and Food Technology Center – Function Hall. The event was successfully completed through the participation and cooperation of the Food Technology students. It was an important activity that gave students the opportunity to take part in the election process and exercise their role in selecting the leaders of the organization.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in making this event successful. May the Food Technology Society continue to promote unity, leadership, cooperation, and active participation among all Food Technology students.

A new chapter in student leadership begins. The CEFS Student Council (CEFS-SC) held its organizational meeting and election on September 1, 2026, marking the official transition toward a new batch of student leaders committed to serving and representing the CEFS student body.

With the guidance of CEFS-SC Adviser Engr. Edgar Martin Y. De La Rama, Jr., together with Governor Joshua Nicholai Gajunera and the Council officers, the activity formally opened the election process and welcomed the newly elected CEFS-SC officers.

The CEFS-SC extends its sincere appreciation to the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and meaningful contributions to the CEFS community.

Above all, we thank every CEFS Innovator for your active participation and continued support. Your involvement makes student leadership stronger and more meaningful.

The College of Engineering and Food Science successfully conducted its 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on September 1, 2026, at the Student Atrium, officially welcoming students to the new academic year.

The activity commenced with a Thanksgiving Mass, providing the CEFS community with an opportunity to give thanks and seek guidance as they begin another year of academic pursuits. This was followed by a series of comprehensive presentations intended to familiarize students with the College’s academic programs, institutional policies, university goals, opportunities, and student support services.

The CEFS Student Orientation Program 2026 served as an important avenue for establishing a strong foundation for the academic year. Through the activity, students were equipped with essential information and a deeper understanding of their academic responsibilities, institutional values, policies, opportunities, and the support systems available to them.

As the CEFS community begins another academic year, may this orientation inspire students to uphold academic excellence, integrity, responsibility, innovation, and service as they pursue their respective fields and prepare to become competent professionals and valuable contributors to society.
