APPRECIATION POST!!!

With grateful hearts, we would like to thank our generous donors for sharing educational materials and toys for NENA’s Sprout Space📚🧸
- Ms. Rafaelyn P. Dorado and Biboy
- Dr. Marien A. Lauerto and Amarah
- Dr. Aleta Rose A. Onglatco and Kier Anton O. Suegay
- Yanna

Your kindness means so much to our student mothers and their children. Because of you, this space is becoming more than just a corner—it is now a place where little ones can learn and play safely while their mothers continue their studies with peace of mind.

Each book, toy, and learning material you shared carries encouragement, care, and hope. These simple gifts help create smiles, spark curiosity, and remind our student mothers that they are supported by a community that believes in them.

The Library continues to warmly welcome individuals and partners who would like to share educational materials, toys, or learning resources for NENA’s Sprout Space. Every contribution—big or small—will help us strengthen this nurturing space for our student mothers and their children.

Thank you for helping us grow NENA’s Sprout Space into a nurturing environment where both mothers and children can feel welcome, valued, and inspired.

Your generosity truly makes a difference.

The last day of midterm exams was made a little lighter and warmer through Day 2 of our Free Coffee and Bread in the Library. ☕🍞

Students came by to take a quick pause, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy some bread. It was heartwarming to see everyone sharing smiles, small conversations, and a sense of relief as they pushed through their midterm exams.

To everyone who availed, we truly hoped that this small gesture helped ease your day and gave you the energy to finish strong. Your presence made the experience even more meaningful for us.

Our sincere thanks to our generous sponsors for their kindness and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Here’s to getting through midterms and celebrating the effort you all have given. 💛

March 31, 2026 – Launching of NENA’s Sproutspace & Campus Goodwill Shop

CAPSU Pontevedra proudly unveiled NENA’s Sproutspace at the Library, alongside the Campus Goodwill Shop at the Student Affairs and Services Office—a milestone in creating nurturing and supportive spaces for our students, especially student mothers and their children.

💛 NENA’s Sproutspace (Nurture, Empowered Nurturing Balance, Resources, and Access to Opportunities) is more than just a library corner—it’s a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where student mothers can study while their children feel accommodated and included. This initiative celebrates the dedication of our student mothers and affirms that their educational journey is valued and supported.

🌟 Campus Goodwill Shop - Through donations spearheaded by the Student Affairs and Services Office headed by Dr. Aleta Rose A. Onglatco, faculty and staff share quality items and pantry staples with the campus community. This initiative not only supports student needs but also fosters a culture of generosity, sustainability, and shared responsibility, ensuring that resources are maximized and reach those who need them most.

These initiatives were made possible through collaboration with the Gender and Development Office headed by Dr. Marien A. Laureto, GAD Focal Person, and the support of the campus administration, headed by Dr. Honey Lee. E. Casa, Dr. Judel V. Protacio, COEAS Dean, Dr. Mary Ann L. Decrepito, BEED Program Chair, faculty and staff, reflecting a strong culture of care, community, and shared responsibility. 🌼💚
