The proposed Municipal Sports Complex at the WVSU Pototan Campus has taken a significant step forward following the recent request of Hon. Mayor Rafael Enrique "Adi" P. Lazaro for key documentary requirements needed for the project's preliminary evaluation and planning on June 1, 2026.
Among the documents requested by Mayor Lazaro and released by the campus are the lot plan of the proposed project area, the land title, and the campus site development plan. These documents will serve as essential references for the initial assessment, technical evaluation, and forthcoming site inspection activities related to the proposed development.
In support of the initiative, Mayor Lazaro has likewise coordinated with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) to seek technical assistance and explore possible funding opportunities for the project. The collaboration aims to ensure that the proposed facility complies with established standards and requirements and may qualify for infrastructure support from the PSC.
The submission and evaluation of the required documents form part of the preparatory process for the development of the necessary project proposals and supporting documentation.
