The journey begins. With the theme โ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐๐ฉ: ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฐ๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ง๐ฌ,โ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ formally welcomed its first-year students through the ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐
๐ ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐. Freshmen from all colleges, including the proud Tourism students of CHTM, marched in their college colors โ carrying banners of identity and pride as their first step toward university life.
Days later, On ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ the rite concludes with the final and most symbolic tradition: the Burungitan. On the last day of Burungitan, freshmen receive the mark of paint on their faces and are showered with water โ a ritual that officially welcomes them as true Bearcats of PalawanSU. It signifies unity, transformation, and belonging to one PSU community.
To our CHTM Tourism Freshmen: your first parade and your final pupungitan mark the beginning of your path in hospitality, service, and leadership. May this tradition ground you in Palawanโs culture and inspire you to represent it to the world.
