EVENT RECAP | Last May 6, the NU Fairview Guidance and Counseling Office, in partnership with the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, successfully conducted the seminar entitled โ€œFrom Challenge to Support: Helping Students with Diverse Needs.โ€

The seminar aimed to strengthen awareness, empathy, and inclusive practices in supporting students with diverse needs within the academic community. Through meaningful discussions and collaborative learning, participants gained valuable insights on creating a more supportive and understanding environment for every learner.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all faculty members, staff, and participants whose presence and engagement contributed to the success of this event. Your commitment to fostering an inclusive, compassionate, and supportive learning environment continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. ๐Ÿ’™

EVENT RECAP | Earlier this morning, student organization leaders and class representatives came together for a meaningful step toward better mental health on campus. Mind on Mute (MoM) mental health campaign continues to grow as a student-led advocacyโ€”by the students, for the students, and now, with the students.

Episode 2 focused on Guidance and Mental Health Awareness, with Sir Miko and Ameerah sharing valuable insights and support with participants. Participants also received curated MoM kits, a small but meaningful reminder to care for themselves beyond the session.

Together, we continue building a community that supports student well-being and a mentally healthy learning environment. ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿง โœจ

This Mental Health Awareness Month, be part of Mind on Mute: Episode 2โ€”a Guidance Awareness Advocacy Campaign created by the students, for the students, and now WITH the students.

First launched by AB Communication students last February, this growing movement now continues in collaboration with the NU Fairview Peer Facilitators and the Guidance and Counseling Officeโ€”bringing stronger voices and a united purpose to mental health advocacy.

Step up, speak out, and support one another. Plus, participants will receive a FREE MoM Kit to help you lead and advocate with purpose!
