𝑭𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑳𝒐𝒈 𝟎𝟎𝟒: 𝑵𝑪 𝑰𝑰𝑰 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏! 📝

The journey toward becoming industry-ready goes beyond the lessons learned inside the classroom. For the 4th Year BS Tourism Management students of NU Fairview, this journey was put into practice through the 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐍𝐂) 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, where they were given the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and competencies they had developed throughout their academic journey.

This flight log of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐍𝐔𝐚𝐥 captures two (2) featured stories: the orientation that prepared students for certification and the assessment that put their skills to the test. Together, these stories highlight the students’ preparation, performance, and growing competence as future tourism and events professionals.

The Junior Executives of Tourism Society (JETS) would like to wish the six-player team from the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) of NU Fairview the best of luck as they represent our institution in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition conducted by the Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines (JTHMAP).

Among the six are three (3) of our very own BS Tourism Management students who will be proudly representing our department and JTHMAP – East Manila:

Tour guiding is more than delivering information—it is about creating stories, connections, and experiences that stay with every visitor.

As part of our commitment to meaningful learning and transformative experiences, VELOURA Events and SOLARA Productions in collaboration with the National Museum of Fine Arts, will be conducting a convention event entitled “𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.” 📚

This convention will explore how storytelling, creative interpretation, and effective communication can transform traditional tour guiding into more engaging, immersive, and meaningful visitor experiences.

The convention will feature expert-led sessions and an interactive workshop on visual arts interpretation and audience engagement. It is designed for selected tourism, museum, heritage, education, and storytelling practitioners and enthusiasts seeking to enhance their interpretive skills and broaden their understanding of Philippine arts, culture, history, and heritage.
