As part of its Career Services, the Guidance and Counseling Office, in collaboration with Jobs180, successfully conducted two impactful career seminars on March 18, 2026, held at the WCC Gymnasium and streamed via Facebook Live.

In the morning, 2nd year college students participated in “Prepping for the Real World: A 2nd Year Career Lab,” where they gained valuable insights and practical skills to begin shaping their career paths early.

In the afternoon, 3rd year college students attended “Level Up: Strengthening Career Identity and Internship Readiness,” a session focused on enhancing career identity and preparing for internship opportunities.

Both seminars were led by career subject matter expert Mr. Kim Chua, whose expertise inspired and equipped students with the confidence to navigate their future careers.

As part of the Career Services of the Guidance and Counseling Office, an empowering seminar titled “Career in the 21st Century: Fostering Readiness & Emotional Resilience in the Workplace” was successfully held on March 27, 2026 at the WCC Gymnasium.

The morning session was attended by our Grade 11 students, who gained valuable insights from Mr. Justine Paulo T. Juan, a Registered Guidance Counselor, on preparing for the ever-evolving demands of today’s careers.

In the afternoon, our Grade 12 students had the opportunity to learn from Ms. Charlene Joyce Panillos, a Registered Guidance Counselor and Registered Psychologist, who provided practical career guidance and helped students navigate their paths as they prepare for life beyond senior high school.

This meaningful event equipped our students with the mindset, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in the modern workplace.

March 31, 2026, the WCC-QC Guidance & Counseling Office held a powerful seminar on mental health awareness.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Ed Caligner, PhD, RGC, RPsy, RPm, LPT, led a heartfelt discussion on navigating anxiety and depression, reminding us that even when we feel like we are "hanging by a thread," we are never alone. The session empowered students to speak up, seek support, and look out for one another.

A huge thank you to Mr. Caligner of Sivana Heart of Psychological Services for helping us build a more resilient community.
