🎓 The Black Gown symbolizes academic dignity, authority, and the pursuit of knowledge. Its timeless design reflects the commitment of educators to teaching, research, and service.

In the Philippine academic tradition, academic regalia are worn during commencement exercises, investitures, convocations, and other formal academic ceremonies. Each color, symbol, and design element tells a story—honoring the responsibilities, achievements, and enduring commitment of educators in shaping future generations of engineers.

After winning at the NCR Qualifying Rounds, this amazing team fought hard, learned fast, and represented QCU with pure pride on a National Level!✊💙💛❤️🔥

Still, congratulations to our QCU-IE Team for giving their absolute best at the National Level Quiz Bee Competition held at De La Salle University-Manila last Saturday, June 6, 2026. We may not have taken the top spot this time but the brilliance and teamwork you displayed proved exactly why we belong on the national stage at the national level of this competition.

The QCU-IE Quiz Bee Team, led by Engr. Raniel B. Taripe are IE students from 2nd and 3rd year level, Mr. Jorous Lopez, Ms. Chesca Mae Casiquin, Ms. Nicole Rapirap and Ms. Laura Tolentino.

The questions were tough, the competition was fierce, and the experience was a major level-up!

The College of Engineering faculty gathered for a productive semestral-end meeting to discuss important plans for the upcoming graduation ceremony and summer classes. They also reflect on the remarkable accomplishments and milestones achieved this semester. 🏆

To cap off the meeting, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved pizza filled with good conversations, laughter, and celebration! 🍕😋

Ipinagmamalaki ng Quezon City University (QCU) ang pagdadala ng bandila ng Pilipinas sa prestihiyosong World VEX Robotics Competition na ginanap sa Missouri, United States. Sa nasabing kompetisyon, ipinakita ng koponan ng QCU ang husay, inobasyon, at kakayahan ng mga Pilipino sa larangan ng robotics.

Layunin ng kanilang pagsali na maipakita ang global competitiveness ng bansa at patunayan na kayang makipagsabayan ng mga Pinoy sa pandaigdigang entablado ng teknolohiya at agham. Ang tagumpay na ito ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa kabataang Pilipino na patuloy na mangarap at magtagumpay sa larangan ng STEM.

Organized by Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers - National Student Chapter at Quezon City University, the team consists of three 3rd year IE students and a 2nd year student which were also the champions in the recently held IE Quiz Bee during the university week 2026 celebration.
