As Quebec faces shortage in healthcare workers, the province offers bonuses as high as $18,000 to nurses who choose to work full time in the public health system as the province grapples with an urgent staffing shortage.

It hopes to keep full-time nurses, encourage part-timers to go full time, and lure back nurses who retired or moved to private agencies.
