Freshies, it’s been a great August with you all, but it has slipped away into a moment in time…⏳️ and now, we know… that it’s time to go… 🥲🫂 We’ve reached the end game now!

From the ADAPT 2023 team, we would like to thank you all for participating in this year’s ADAPT! Thank you for the energy and time you have shared with us, and thank you for making it just as magical for us as it was for all of you! ✨

As you enter your UP Law era (for real now), may you remember all of the things you have learned in the past month.

Never forget to be kind, to be clever, and to be polite… and may you never forget the power that you have now as a law student, and the responsibility that comes with it. ⚖️

And when fear creeps into your mind, just remember to breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, breathe out… you just need to calm down! 😮‍💨😌

And lastly, you’re on your own freshies, you always have been, you can face this! You're here for a reason! You are now 💫

Hey freshies, why be mad... when you could be GLAAD? 🌈

We all know now that we all got crowns 👑 but a little lesson on respect and equality never hurt nobody 👍

In recent years, the Supreme Court has taken steps toward more inclusivity by championing gender equality 🫶🏳️‍🌈 and so the same obligation falls unto us as law students as we prepare to practice law in a more modern, progressive, and accepting society.

Hence, we highly encourage everyone to attend the UP Law Gender Law and Policy Program's (GLPP) Gender Sensitivity Orientation on Thursday, August 31, 4-7PM via Zoom (see Zoom details at the bottom of this caption).

Remember freshies, shade never made anybody less gay, so let's learn to be more respectful of each other's SOGIE, to spread love (is love is love), and to practice empathy in our lives 🫂🤗
