The UP Filipiniana Dance Group was honored to perform at the PAPSHPI’s Annual Convention on September 21, 2026, at Edsa Shangri-La.

We are grateful to have been part of this gathering and to have shared the richness and beauty of Mindanao’s culture through dance.

Our heartfelt thanks to the PAPSHPI’s Annual Convention organizers for having us and for giving us the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event.

Another Battle of Katipunan! 🔥

The UP Filipiniana Dance Group took the court at the UAAP Season 89 Men’s Basketball game between UP and Ateneo, bringing the exciting spirit of Philippine folk dance to the UP community!

And what better way to cap off the day than with a 94-75 victory for the Fighting Maroons! 🔥🏀

Ma’am Cora dedicated more than two decades of service to the College as a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗛𝗞 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟯 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟲. She also served as 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗣 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟯 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟭, contributing significantly to the development and appreciation of dance within the University.

Through performances by generations of dancers and artists, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮 celebrates the legacy she has shared with CHK and the wider dance community—a pamana that continues to live through movement, mentorship, and the people she has inspired.
