PMSA is the premier pre-medical organization of the Ateneo.

It is the vision of this organization to be a community of students in the Ateneo de Manila University, holistically prepared as future doctors. The organization facilitates the formation of outstanding clinicians and proactive leaders, who have an understanding of the medical profession, that initiate development in the Health sector of the Philippines.

𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐩𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩 𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧! 🫂🩺

Last April 11, 2026, the Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo conducted the ‘Yakap ng Kalusugan’ Seminar, a half-day program that aims to equip our partner community, Brgy. Tumana, with the knowledge to navigate the GAMOT and YAKAP registration and benefits availment processes. 🏥

The PMSA also had the opportunity to invite Dr. Peter Kyle De Leon from the Marikina City Health Office and Mr. Jose Sidfry Panganipan from the PhilHealth Local Health Information Office in Fairview to provide the talk to our Tumana residents.

This initiative empowers the community by ensuring that primary healthcare services are understandable, fostering a proactive approach to maintaining well-being. ❤️‍🩹

The Ateneo Blue Cross Unit, the PMSA’s established first-aid team, took a big step in strengthening their lifesaving skills as they underwent Occupational First Aid Training (OFAT).

Through hands-on drills and expert guidance, the Ateneo Blue Cross Unit enhanced their readiness to respond confidently and effectively in emergencies because every second counts when it comes to saving lives ❤️‍🩹
