The had a great general assembly yesterday, Feb 19, 2026, to elect the new board of trustees for the biennium term of 2026 and 2027. Also on the agenda were long overdue amendments to the bylaws. It was a great occasion to say hello to each other, and meet new members while tackling major items. The assembly also had a chance to thank the past board members for their service with an exclusively crafted plaque of appreciation commissioned from JunkNot Eco Creatives . We also thanked the National Book Development Board - Philippines for their service to the industry and for the 43-year partnership with BDAP in the administration of the Manila International Book Fair . Rio Brigino-Lim gave the assembly a short talk on IBBY-PH and the planned efforts to take Philippine children's content to the world, while Liza Flores of INK gave guidelines on how members might join the Philippine participation at the Nami Festival. The last photo will show the new Board for the years 2026 and 2027, a couple of them represented by colleagues of the new trustees. Things are looking up, ! Onwards!

Congratulations to the winners and finalists!
