Ang Konseho ng Mag-aaral ng Kolehiyo ng Arte at Literatura (KM-KAL) ang opisyal na kinatawan ng mga Artista ng Bayan ng KAL. Layunin nitong patampukin ang mga kampanya ng kolehiyo, ng mga kapwa kabataan-estudyante, at ng iba't ibang sektor ng unibersidad, kasabay ng pagsulong at pagtataguyod ng militanteng tradisyon ng kolehiyo sa pakikisangkot sa samu't saring isyung panlipunan. Ito ang mga miyembro ng KM-KAL para sa taong 2025-2026:

Kasabay sa opisyal na suporta ng dekano, layunin ng konseho na anyayahan ang buong kolehiyo, lalo na ang mga mag-aaral, na dumalo sa Kampuhan at iba pang mga inisyatiba ngayong buwan ng mga pesante upang makiisa sa panawagan ng mga magsasakaโ€™t katutubo. Once again, aside from additional learning spaces, free-flowing coffee and snacks for all students will be provided at the CNB Atrium from Oct. 13 (Tuesday) to Oct. 23 (Friday) every 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in honor of the 1st Semester's Midterms season. โ˜•๏ธ

We encourage bringing your own tumblers/drinking materials, but you may also avail the disposable cups for PHP 5.00 each. For Focus Area, kindly proceed at the back of the Atrium where armchairs are placed.

The UP Diliman Psychosocial Services (UPD PsycServ) has been celebrating the UP Mental Health Month since 2017. Join us this year for โ€œPwede nang Mangarap ng Ginhawaโ€!

[CALL FOR DONATIONS ๐Ÿ“ฃ]

Kumakaharap ngayon sa banta ng demolisyon ang Pook Daan Tubo, kung saan may higit labing limang (15) bahay na naka-ambang ipagiba ang UP Office of Community Relations. Isa sa mga ito ang bahay ni Ate Rocell, na isang solo parent. Giniba ang pangalawang palapag ng kaniyang bahay at ngayon ay tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagbabantay para igiit ang karapatan sa lupa at paninirahan.

Nananawagan para sa donasyon ang konseho, katuwang ng ibaโ€™t ibang organisasyong tumututok sa pag-antabay sa banta ng demolisyon, para maitaguyod ang barikada at makatulong sa mga apektadong komunidad. Maaaring tumugon at sumama sa barikada, o kaya naman ay magpadala ng anumang halaga sa QR code o numero na nakapaskil sa ibaba.

Sa gitna ng gutom, mataas na presyo ng gasolina, at kawalan ng seguridad sa lupa, pasismo pa rin ang sagot ng rehimeng US-Marcos Jr. sa kumakalam na sikmura ng mga magsaska!

Habang patuloy na kinakamkam ng malalaking korporasyon at panginoong maylupa ang lupa at likas-yaman, dinarahas at pinalalayas naman ang mga magsasaka at manggagawang bukid sa lupang kanilang sinasaka. Sila ang nagpapakain sa bayan at lumilikha ng yaman, ngunit sila rin ang pinagkakaitan ng lupa, kabuhayan, at dignidad. Sa ilalim ng rehimeng US-Marcos-Duterte, lalong lumalalim ang pyudal na sistema at nananatiling nakasentro ang lupa sa iilang makapangyarihan, habang isinasakripisyo ang kapakanan ng maraming magsasaka.

Kaya halinaโ€™t makiisa sa pagsalubong sa Buwan ng Magbubukid. Sama-sama nating itakwil ang mapang-aping sistema. Panagutin ang mga patuloy na nagpapahirap at nagsasamantala sa bayan at sa kaban ng bayan. Sabay-sabay nating igiit ang karapatan at tunay na reporma sa lupa!
