🎨 Four CIIT BMMA students placed in the Top 7 at Portfolio Night Manila 2026! 🏆

Held on October 5 at Ayala Museum, Portfolio Night Manila 2026 was hosted by adobo Magazine for The One Club for Creativity, bringing together emerging creatives and industry leaders for portfolio reviews, mentorship, and professional networking.

Representing CIIT were 16 BMMA students who presented their portfolios to creative professionals from leading agencies, including BBDO Guerrero, GIGIL, Ogilvy Manila, Dentsu Creative Philippines, TBWA\SMP, McCann Philippines, Havas Ortega, VML Manila, and more.

🏆 Four CIITzens secured spots in the Top 7:

4th Place: Rm Ang
5th Place: Allen Rabang
6th Place: Lili Zuñiga
7th Place: Kobe Tiston

The Top 7 included students from CIIT, UP Diliman, and MINT College.

All 16 CIITzens established direct connections with industry reviewers, with some already receiving work-related inquiries from creative and design leaders just a day after the event.

From portfolio critiques to actual career conversations, the experience showed how industry exposure, mentorship, and strong creative portfolios can open opportunities for students even before graduation.

This is what CIIT BMMA continues to build: a portfolio culture that prepares students to confidently present their work, connect with industry professionals, and pursue real career opportunities.

Over 800,000 steps in just one month? Our CIIT employees really stepped up to the challenge! 👟💙

What started as a simple wellness initiative turned into a month of friendly competition, consistency, and healthier habits for our CIIT employees.

Paws to Pause Parade turned ordinary class hours into something unforgettable today! 🐶

As part of the CIIT Mental Health Month Celebration, therapy dogs from Communitails moved from classroom to classroom across the Interweave Campus on October 8, 2026, bringing calm and comfort to selected classes. Luffy came back for another round of cuddles, while Creamy made history as both a first-time visitor to CIIT and a brand-new therapy dog on her very first day of duty.
CIITzens got to pause, smile, and recharge right where they were.

: When floods keep coming, what makes a place worth calling home? 🌧️

Meet Uulan Na Naman: Topophilia and Climate-Broken Manila in an Animated Story of Home, Loss and Lived Futures in a Sinking City, one of the Top BMMA Capstone Projects of SY 2025–2026 Term 3, created by CIITzens Curt Justin F. Barroga, Edzel Gabriel Madronio, Jack Daniel Valera, Nathan Tamayo, and Kyzster Dela Cruz.

The project explores topophilia, the emotional connection between people and place, through the experiences and memories of Manila residents living with recurring floods and natural disasters.
Rather than telling the story of just one person, the students built the film from a collection of narratives gathered through their research, including stories from Manila residents and rescue volunteers.

Their central character becomes a symbol of the memories, loss, and emotional weight communities carry after disasters.
To bring those experiences to screen, the team challenged themselves to create a mixed-media animated film, learning and experimenting with techniques such as stop-motion to develop a gritty visual treatment inspired by urban life in Manila.

Through Uulan Na Naman, these CIITzens explore climate change not only through the disasters it causes, but through something deeply human: why people continue to hold on to home even when the place itself is changing around them.

Congratulations to the team behind Uulan Na Naman for turning research, animation, and lived experiences into a story about memory, resilience, and our connection to place. 💙

AI isn’t just changing how we learn. It’s also changing how we work. 💻

At CIIT’s first AI & Tech Mastery Day, employees and educators explored how tools like ChatGPT, Airtable, Notion, and NOVA can support the work they do every day, from course design and automation to productivity and better workflows.

But the day wasn’t just about learning new tools. It was about building a community that knows how to use technology responsibly, practically, and with purpose.

How can educators make today’s technology work for them? 💻

The CIIT Center for Professional Development recently welcomed officers of the Association of Private School Administrators (APSA) for a hands-on ChatGPT for Education Training designed to explore practical ways emerging tools can support teaching, learning, and school operations.

More than learning about the technology itself, the session gave participants the opportunity to try it firsthand, exchange ideas, and discover how it can fit into their own roles as educators and school leaders.

♻️ What started with a single bin drop has now diverted 290 kilograms of recyclables from landfills.

Through Greening-CIIT Recycling Rewards, CIIT is making sustainability something the community can actively participate in, one recyclable at a time.

Led by the Sustainability Office in partnership with the Facilities Department and powered by RezBin, the initiative lets CIITzens turn recyclable drop-offs into eco-points while contributing to a bigger campus-wide effort.
And the impact is already adding up. Since its launch, the program has diverted 290 kg of recyclables, equivalent to saving 118 kg of carbon emissions.
