Nations will rise and fall, but equality remains the ideal. 🪻

This 2026 Year of Philippine Diplomatic History and Diaspora under the Dekada ng Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas 2023–2033 (Proclamation No. 396, s, 2023), the UP Department of History, in partnership with Model United Nations - UP Diliman, sheds light on three distinguished women of Philippine foreign affairs.

Women in Philippine Diplomacy: A Roundtable Discussion, gathers three global leaders who made their mark through foreign service. Their excellencies paved the way for our diplomatic history and showed that women do indeed deserve and must have a seat at the table.

Ginugunita natin ang dahas, paninikil, at pang-aabuso sa ilalim ng Batas Militar—at tinutukoy ang katotohanan: ginamit ang diplomasya upang nakawin ang yaman ng bansa at pagsilbihan ang interes ng dayuhan.

Ngayon, isa na namang Marcos ang nakaupo. Bumalik ang apelyido, kasama ang parehong suliranin.
