We would also like to thank our partner, Project SMILE for supporting our initiative in helping Bahay Biyaya! You may also support their project on their page.

CALL FOR DONATIONS FOR BAHAY BIYAYA

Bahay Biyaya Student Hostel is a dormitory in Quezon City that houses PWD youth under the House with No Steps Foundation Inc ,an organization that aims to foster a sense of independence and self-reliance among its residents by guiding them to build their foundation on values centered in faith.

Currently, they are housing student residents and staff members in the hostel under the enhanced community quarantine order of Quezon City.

In light of the current health crisis, Bahay Biyaya needs additional resources that can help sustain its current residents for an extended period of time.

Congratulations to UP CHE BS Interior Design Class of 2018 and Tuloy: Removing Barriers through Interior Design for making it to the Top 42 Field Validation Qualifiers of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards (Health, Well-being and Human Development Category)!

Tuloy is under ID 179 - Special Project in Interior Design, a capstone course meant to promote service learning under the curriculum of BS Interior Design under College of Home Economics (CHE), University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Congratulations to our Field Validation Qualifiers for the Health, Well-Being, and Human Development Category! 🎉

The UP CHE BS Interior Design Class of 2018 proudly present Bahay Biyaya’s transformation. From being minimally functional spaces, the batch has done their utmost to transform the lounge, the dining room, the kitchen, and the toilet and bath into spaces that we hope will transform the lives of Bahay Biyaya's residents.

We sincerely hope that the residents and staff of Bahay Biyaya will enjoy and love what we were able to accomplish for them and for our advocacy. We hope that our project will serve as an example of how interior design can be an avenue to serve our fellow Filipinos.
