As today's paper features the generosity and solidarity of our people in establishing community pantries from one place to another, it enable us to continue to be kind and compassionate, while practicing foresight on these great initiatives. Community pantries sprout up as people take action to help especially those in need. Truly, kindness is a gift that everyone can afford to give.

Today's issue also covers the following topics: 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, women empowerment, and the NASA's Mars mission.

The Red Lily, as the voice of the students of the College Department, welcomes everyone to join and contribute original correspondence or manuscripts. Articles must be typewritten with author’s name, year, and program. The identity of a writer may be withheld upon request. We reserve the right to edit or reject contributions, in whole or in part, as our team deems it necessary for public interest or for clarity and space. In the advent of evolving new media platforms, access to plethora of information nowadays is simpler and more convenient. Given this scenario, addressing the amount of credibility and accountability from various sources plays a crucial role.

In today's issue, we encourage everyone to learn to sift through information, the good from the bad, the important from the trivial, and more importantly, the fact from possible hearsay in this era of fake news and false claims.
