Please be advised that all library facilities will be closed for the holiday break from December 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026. We will not accommodate any students who will study at the library, make document digitization requests, or borrow books during the said dates. Regular operations will resume on January 5, 2026 (Monday).

However, we can still answer your questions about any of our electronic resources and reactivate/validate your RemoteXs account via our page.

Kung gusto mo nang ma-serve ang validated look this sem, pa-validate na ang ID mo — remote man or in person sa 14th Floor Library.

📚 RemoteXs Reactivation
Para sa mga kailangan ng online journals, e-books, at research materials: pa-reactivate na rin ang RemoteXs account n’yo for 2nd sem access. Para hindi tayo ma-‘Access Denied’ sa buhay.

🌟 PROUD MOMENT FOR OUR LIBRARY! 🌟

We celebrate Nathan Lorenzo D. Lagamayo, our very own librarian, for representing the Medical and Health Librarians Association of the Philippines (MAHLAP) Board of Trustees as one of the official presenters at the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI) Congress 2025! 📚✨

With this year’s theme, “PLAI BRIDGES: Borderless. Research-based. Innovative. Developmental. Global. Equitable. Sustainable.”, they delivered their research titled:

🔍 “Library 5.0 and the Future of Librarianship: Measuring Perception and Readiness of Medical and Allied Health Librarians in the Philippines”

Their work (co-authored with Ms. Mariella DC. Dorado from DLSU) highlights the crucial role of research-based practices in empowering libraries to adapt, innovate, and create meaningful impact—especially in the fields of medicine and allied health. Through this study, they contribute to the nationwide conversation on future-ready libraries and the evolving competencies of Filipino librarians.

Representing our institution, the Nicanor Reyes Jr. Medical Library, and MAHLAP with pride, they helped advance one of the Congress’ core goals: sharing evidence-based library experiences in organizing, acquiring, disseminating, and providing access to information.

📘👏 We couldn’t be prouder of Nathan’s dedication, scholarship, and commitment to shaping the future of librarianship.

Let’s celebrate this achievement and continue supporting research that brings our profession forward! 💚✨

Pursuant to the Memorandum Circular No. 106, all library facilities will be closed tomorrow, November 11, 2025 (Tuesday).

Please be guided accordingly.

| Base sa Memorandum Circular No. 106 s. 2025 mula sa Malacañang, suspendido ang pasok sa lahat ng antas ng paaralan at tanggapan ng gobyerno sa buong Metro Manila bukas, November 10, 2025, Lunes, dahil sa inaasahang sama ng panahon dulot ng Super Typhoon .

Suspendido rin ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Martes, Nov. 11, 2025.

Gayunpaman, tuloy ang operasyon ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno na naghahatid ng serbisyong medikal, disaster at emergency response, at iba pang vital services.

Ang suspensyon naman ng trabaho sa mga pribadong kompanya at opisina ay nakasalalay sa kanilang pamunuan.

Pursuant to the announcement made by the QC LGU, all library facilities will be closed tomorrow, November 10, 2025.

| Dahil sa inaasahang masamang lagay ng panahon dulot ng Bagyong , inirerekomenda ng Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO) ang suspensyon ng face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas ng mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Quezon City sa Lunes, November 10, 2025.

Ipatutupad ang Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning (Synchronous / Asynchronous) upang masiguro ang patuloy na pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.
