CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: The MSTDM Scholarship Award for the 1st Semester, AY 2026–2027 is now open! All Track A MSTDM students are invited to submit their applications.

[SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY]

The faculty of the UP Asian Institute of Tourism has approved the establishment of a scholarship grant for its master's program. Called the UP AIT Master of Science in Tourism Development & Management Scholarship Award (MSTDM). The award seeks to incentivize meritorious research by MSTDM students enrolled in the thesis track.

Benefits: Free tuition and other school fees.

PGO Tarlac Tourism Office visits UP AIT

On June 18, 2026, UP AIT officials welcomed representatives from the Provincial Government of Tarlac, led by Dr. Cherrylyn Pascua, together with Ms. Beverly Ferrer, Mr. Diogenes Simbol, and Mr. Michael Paolo Avila.

The visit provided opportunities to discuss potential projects and collaborations between UP AIT and PGO Tarlac for crafting the province's tourism development plan. UP AIT presented past initiatives of the Institute, alongside final capstone projects from graduate diploma students who assisted other LGUs in developing their local tourism framework plans.

UP AIT remains committed to supporting local government units in developing strategic and sustainable tourism development plans.
