𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The Office of Student Activities, in partnership with the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo - Manila, conducted the final two batches of the 𝗢𝗦𝗔 & 𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on September 9 and 10, 2026.
Originally scheduled to be held on campus, both sessions were shifted to an online modality in accordance with the University’s directives to move classes online as a safety precaution amid the inclement weather brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.
The sessions were attended by Finance Officers and Presidents of accredited student organizations and recognized student groups who were unable to attend the first batch held on September 3. Like the first session, the final two batches covered key 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, with discussions facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 (CAO Officer for Student Organizations), 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 (IT Consultant, DITS), 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗢𝗷𝗮𝘀 (OSA Coordinator for SAPS), and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗯𝗮𝘀-𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 (OSA Budget and Finance Officer).
Despite the shift to an online modality, OSA ensured that the snacks prepared for the sessions were still distributed to students who were already on campus before the suspension was announced, as well as to students residing in the dormitories on the succeeding day.
OSA extends its appreciation to the 𝗖𝗢𝗔-𝗠 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 for co-organizing the orientation, as well as to all the student leaders who participated in the sessions and took part in strengthening their understanding of the University’s financial policies and processes.
