On this day, August 19, we celebrate the birth of ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—Ÿ. ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜‡๐—ผ๐—ป, not only in recognition for his achievements and patriotism towards our country, but also for his contributions to the advancements of Quezon City, a city named after him.

He was the second President of the Philippines and the first President of the Philippine Commonwealth. He is widely known as the "Father of the National Language," or more commonly, "Ama ng Wikang Pambansa."

Let us take pride in being Filipino as we continue to remember and honor the man to whom this day is dedicated. May his ideals live on and may his contributions continue to inspire us to work toward the betterment of our fellow Filipinos.

The Trinity University of Asia has announced that classes will shift to online synchronous modality from August 18 to 21, 2026, in consideration of the current flooding situation and to prioritize the safety of its students.

The University noted that August 19 is a holiday, with no classes and work scheduled on the said date.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective faculty members regarding online classes and learning activities. Further announcements may be issued should there be changes based on government advisories.
