Warm congratulations to the NSTP graduates of the UP School of Economics! The gathering highlighted the graduatesโ€™ meaningful NSTP journey and their shared commitment to active citizenship, public service, and community involvement.

The program opened with welcoming remarks from Asst. Prof. Olivia Alma G. Sicam, Director of the NSTP Diliman Office, followed by the presentation of graduates and partner organizations led by Prof. Victoria Quimbo, CWTS-NSTP Faculty-in-Charge.

The awarding of certificates and NSRC pins was facilitated by Prof. Victoria Quimbo and Dr. Aleli D. Kraft, Department Chairโ€™s Office, followed by an inspiring message for the graduates from Dr. Kraft. The ceremony also featured the oath taking of the graduates as new members of the UPD NSRC, symbolizing their continuing commitment to volunteerism and nation-building.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Victoria Quimbo.

The Benitez Theater was filled with pride and inspiration as we celebrated the graduatesโ€™ commitment to community service, leadership, and nation-building. The program formally opened with welcoming remarks from Asst. Prof. Olivia Alma Sicam, Director of the NSTP Diliman Office, followed by an inspiring message from Ana Patricia "Patreng" Non.

Held on December 3 at the Asian Institute of Tourism, University of the Philippines Diliman, this yearโ€™s Gawad NSRC celebrated the dedication and impact of our NSTP implementers, students, and partner communities.

Hosted by Asst. Prof. Victor Obedicen and Asst. Prof. Joan Hope Elgincolin, the program opened with welcoming remarks from Asst. Prof. Giovanni Francis Legaspi, Dean of the Asian Institute of Tourism, followed by inspiring messages from Atty. Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II, Chancellor of UP Diliman, and Professor Emeritus Angelito โ€œKa Litoโ€ Manalili.

Nominated entries from NSTP implementing units were awarded certificates of Natatanging Proyekto sa NSTP, while three outstanding initiatives received the Huwarang Proyekto sa NSTP plaque of recognition:

The awards were presented by Chancellor Vistan, Vice Chancellor Lusung-Oyzon, and NSTP Director Sicam, facilitated by Mr. Ramon Bandong and Ms. Amy Tomie from the NSTP Diliman Office.

The program also featured special intermission performances by the UP Rondalla and Cuerdas Comparsa, adding vibrance to the celebration. The event concluded with meaningful closing remarks from the Deputy Director for NSRC, Asst. Prof. Joan Hope Elgincolin.

The NSTP-NSRC team would like to thank everyone who joined usโ€” the NSRC Reservists, NSTP units, partner organizations, and all our guestsโ€”for making this celebration truly special. Your continued commitment strengthens our collective mission to uplift and empower our communities.
