UP Diliman OICA This is the official page of the UP Diliman Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts OICA is under the Office of the Chancellor, UP Diliman.

The Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (OICA) was formally established in March 1999 by virtue of the decision made by the Board of Regents during its 1128th meeting on January 28, 1999. OICA is mandated to carry out the following functions:

1. To formulate policies, guidelines, plans and programs on artistic and cultural activities for UP Diliman. These activities are directed toward

s the following:

a. enrichment of artistic and cultural experiences of UP Diliman students, faculty, staff, residents, and audiences off-campus;

b. promotion of humanistic and nationalistic values among the members of the UP Diliman community and the nation;

c. creation of an environment conducive to realizing the visions of UP Diliman artists and cultural workers;

2. To organize, coordinate, and support various artistic and cultural activities in UP Diliman;

3. To promote and support the various artists and artistic groups in UP Diliman;

4. To plan, evaluate, and oversee the development of theaters, museums, sculptures, garden, art galleries, studios, and other cultural facilities and infrastructure in UP Diliman;

5. To promote UP Diliman as a major cultural center in the Philippines.

Ang kumperensiya ay gaganapin sa Hunyo 18-19, 2026 sa Ignacio B. Gimenez (IBG)-KAL Theatre, UP Diliman.

Ang tema ng kumperensiya ay โ€œRizal at Pagkamakabayanโ€ bilang paggunita sa ika-70 anibersaryo ng Batas Rizal. Susuriin natin ang naging pag-unlad at pagbabago sa lipunang Pilipino mula noon kina Rizal hanggang ngayon. Ang ugnayan ng akademya, mga kilusang panlipunan at bayan, ang tatsulok na tinatanaw nating magluluwal ng makabuluhang edukasyong huhubog sa makabayan at kritikal na mamamayan na kailangan ng lipunan.

Bahagi ang Kumperensiyang Tatsulok ng mga gawain ng UP DFPP sa ika-60 anibersaryo gayundin ang pagpapahusay ng pagtuturo sa kursong Rizal, at pagpapalakas ng pangkalahatang edukasyon sa Pilipinas.
