𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣: 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗨𝗣 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀, 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

The UP Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts (UP DSCTA) closed our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙐𝙋 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙨 for kids, tweens, and teens last June 11, 2026. Eight sections culminated two weeks of engaged learning with culminating performances, speeches, and debates.

A total of 144 registered participants explored performance and storytelling for kids, basic public speaking for tweens, and advanced public speaking and argumentation for teens. The workshops were facilitated by UP DSCTA faculty members Kate Ashlyn Dayag-Nonay and Marielle Justine Sumilong (𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙆𝙞𝙙𝙨), Justine Alcantara and Ma. Theresa De Guzman (𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙨), Marc Stanley Mozo, Angel Venniz Gutierrez, Jericho Daniel Igdanes, and Josef Ryan Tosoc (𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙨).

Take a look into the first week of our 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙐𝙥 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙨 for kids, tweens, and teens. A total of eight sections and 144 registered participants explored performance and storytelling for kids, basic public speaking for tweens, and advanced public speaking and argumentation for teens.

Tomorrow, June 11, is the culminating activity for all Speak Up kids, tweens, and teens classes.
