Christian Pulmano of the Ateneo Java Wireless Competency Center (AJWCC) presents the SHINE OS+ platform here at the 65th Association of Municipal Health Officers of the Philippines’ (AMHOP) national convention and scientific meeting.

Smart Communications, Inc., in partnership with AJWCC, has developed SHINE OS+ (Secured Health Information Network and Exchange), an electronic medical record system that enables health facilities to provide faster and better service to their patients.

Launched in 2011, SHINE OS+ enables public health facilities to retrieve patient records with a few clicks on a laptop, refer patients to better-equipped health facilities electronically, and remind patients of appointments and medication via SMS.

The program also allows these health facilities to submit relevant patient information to the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation for faster processing of claims and health statistics.

Congratulations SHINE OS+ team!
