[CALL FOR DONATIONS]

Last July 6, the father of Stefhanie Khaye Barca, an incoming 2nd year BS Statistics student, underwent craniotomy that lasted until 4:30 am in the next morning. While the said operation was successful, his family had to wait for three days for the results of his CT scan.

As of the moment, the family has already spent Php. 80,000.00 for the surgery’s instrumentation and another Php. 24,000.00 for medications. While Barca’s father has not yet been discharged from the hospital, the family is yet to pay other fees.

In line with this, the Barca family is raising funds to help with medical expenses. They are also accepting donations such as (1) wheelchair, (2) crutches, and (3) stroke hand recovery device.

For monetary donations, you may donate directly to the Barca family through the payment channels listed in the post by the student council.

Eya will always be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for the community she served. Her presence and contributions will leave a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

The UP Diliman (UPD) community is invited to a public forum for the selection of the next UPD School of Statistics (STAT) dean on Nov. 4, Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the STAT Auditorium.

The interviews with stakeholders will be held on Nov. 4, from 1 to 5 p.m., and Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., on the 2nd Floor, Faculty and Alumni Lounge, STAT.
