Thames International Joins Taipan Youth Summit 2026

Mandaluyong City, Philippines — Students from Thames International participated in the Taipan Youth Summit 2026, a leadership and entrepreneurship forum held under the theme “Where Young Minds Take Shape: Guiding the Next Generation of Taokes (Entrepreneurs)” at The Podium. The school attended the summit as an institutional partner alongside the Ateneo de Manila University Business Resource Center, reinforcing its commitment to developing globally competitive and socially conscious entrepreneurs.
The Thames International delegation was led by Ms. Debbie Rodrigo, Managing Director, and included students Daniel Long (BS Entrepreneurship), Winston Stolk (BS Entrepreneurship and a talent of GMA Sparkle), Samuel Cue, and Arlene Laudit.
The summit convened prominent leaders from the Philippine business sector to share insights on entrepreneurship, family businesses, and innovation, providing delegates with opportunities to learn from some of the country’s most respected founders and executives.
Through its partnership in the Taipan Youth Summit 2026, Thames International reaffirmed its commitment to shaping the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
By exposing students to insights from seasoned executives and founders, the summit provided a platform for young delegates to learn about family business governance, brand innovation, start-up resilience, and values-driven leadership in line with the ‘Thames Way’.
As the event concluded, participants left with a renewed understanding that entrepreneurial success requires curiosity, humility, competence, and a strong sense of purpose, qualities that will guide the next generation of Filipino business leaders.
