CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: The C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T Program (Creative Alliance for Technical Assistance and Linkages Yielding Strategic Transformation) is NOW OPEN. Led by Thames International, in partnership with the National Development Company (NDC), this flagship pilot is designed to support creative MSMEs and startups ready to scale.

More than just a programme, C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T is a hands-on, high-engagement journey, combining mentorship, learning, and real ecosystem connections to help you strengthen your business, access new markets, and prepare for growth and investment.

Who can apply? Founders of creative MSMEs and startups (with up to 2 team members) who are serious about scaling their ventures.

Commitment required: This is not a passive programme. We’re looking for builders who will show up fully, engage deeply, and ctively develop their business across all stages

Location: Philippine Innovation Hub – Marikina Enterprise Center

Camp 1: May 29–31, 2026
Camp 2: June 5–7, 2026

Thames International Joins Taipan Youth Summit 2026

Mandaluyong City, Philippines — Students from Thames International participated in the Taipan Youth Summit 2026, a leadership and entrepreneurship forum held under the theme “Where Young Minds Take Shape: Guiding the Next Generation of Taokes (Entrepreneurs)” at The Podium. The school attended the summit as an institutional partner alongside the Ateneo de Manila University Business Resource Center, reinforcing its commitment to developing globally competitive and socially conscious entrepreneurs.

The Thames International delegation was led by Ms. Debbie Rodrigo, Managing Director, and included students Daniel Long (BS Entrepreneurship), Winston Stolk (BS Entrepreneurship and a talent of GMA Sparkle), Samuel Cue, and Arlene Laudit.

The summit convened prominent leaders from the Philippine business sector to share insights on entrepreneurship, family businesses, and innovation, providing delegates with opportunities to learn from some of the country’s most respected founders and executives.

Through its partnership in the Taipan Youth Summit 2026, Thames International reaffirmed its commitment to shaping the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.

By exposing students to insights from seasoned executives and founders, the summit provided a platform for young delegates to learn about family business governance, brand innovation, start-up resilience, and values-driven leadership in line with the ‘Thames Way’.

As the event concluded, participants left with a renewed understanding that entrepreneurial success requires curiosity, humility, competence, and a strong sense of purpose, qualities that will guide the next generation of Filipino business leaders.

Red-Hot! Jacela Powers to Podium Finish 

Competing in the Subic Bay Multisports Festival last March 1, 2026, Gabriel Red G. Jacela, a BSEN student of Thames International, surged past the competition in the highly competitive Age Group 18–24 division, finishing an impressive second overall. It was a performance marked by grit, discipline, and the kind of relentless drive that defines true athletes.
From the opening stretch to the final push toward the finish line, Red showed poise beyond his years—strategic in pace, strong in transition, and fearless in the closing moments. The silver finish wasn’t just a podium placement; it was a statement.
The Thames community beams with pride as Red once again proves his athletic excellence on the national stage!
