*Prerog form opens every day until the end of the first week of classes (August 14, 2026), OR until all slots are filled, whichever comes first.

*Prerog requests are cleared at the end of each day. If you were not granted a slot at the end of the day, you may answer the form again the following day.

Note that answering this form does not guarantee a slot. Your request will be processed only if the instructor will accommodate prerog requests or if there are available slots in the class.

The University of the Philippines Diliman Department of Psychology (UPDDP) and Masayang Pamilya (MaPa) Organization Inc. formally signed a two-year partnership agreement on 11 August 2026 at the MaPa Org. headquarters in Maginhawa, Quezon City. The partnership aims to advance collaboration in research, capacity building, and advocacy.

Representing UPDDP at the signing were Chairperson Assoc. Prof. Jay Yacat, Assoc. Prof. Summer Parcon, and Senior Extension Associate Mr. Kenneth Rives. Representing MaPa Org. were Executive Director Ms. Jennel Reyes, Training and Implementation Officer Ms. Cherry Nicdao, Finance and Administrative Unit Head Ms. Joannie Tongol, and Program and Research Development Officer Ms. Andie Casas.

It is with deep sadness that we inform the community of the passing of Dr. Louella Barra Orillaza. Dr. Orillaza served as our Department's chair from 2021-2024 and as a faculty member since 1995, radiating joy and care in her teaching and service. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

The UP Diliman Department of Psychology (UPDDP) is pleased to announce its three-year partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Counseling and Guidance (UPDOCG) to offer student internship opportunities beginning in the first semester of AY 2026–2027.

Through this collaboration, psychology students will gain meaningful hands-on experience by applying the knowledge and skills they have developed in the classroom to address real-world social issues and challenges. The partnership underscores the shared commitment of both offices to providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities that prepare future psychologists for professional practice and community engagement.

NOTICE ON REGISTRATION PERIOD AND PREROG REQUESTS

Enlistment will be done through the waitlisting module on CRS. Waitlisting will open every day from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm during the registration period. We will distribute any available slots according to priority listing (e.g., graduating status, underloaded). Results will be released and the waitlist will be cleared every 5:30pm.

We will not entertain any request for prerogs in classes offered by the Department of Psychology during the regular enlistment period. A prerog form will open after regular enlistment in case of any remaining unfilled slots.
