We are Team UP, a group of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering students from the University of the Philippines Diliman competing in the Urban Concept - Battery Electric category of the Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2015. The Shell Eco-marathon Asia allows students to design, build and test energy efficient vehicles. Over a hundred teams participate in SEM Asia yearly to compe

te for the highest mileage with the least amount of energy. This year, our team is geared towards more than winning - the aim is to help boost the Philippines’ electric vehicle industry through our designs that can be manufactured and used by our own. SEM Asia will be held from February 26 to March 1, 2015 at the Quirino Grandstand, Manila.
