UP Kamangyan would like to congratulate its members who, despite the struggles of online learning, managed to receive academic merit* for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2020-2021.

Additionally, the organization would like to recognize all of its members for making it through the First Semester. The past semester proved to be challenging due to the successive typhoons that ravaged our provinces, intermittent internet connectivity, and unpredictable power interruptions, yet you all persevered till the very end.

Sa pagtatapos ng Bangon, Mindoro noong Nobyembre 19, 2020 ay nakakalap kami ng Php 32, 720.04. Lubos pong nagpapasalamat ang Hiraya Mindoro sa lahat ng nagpaabot ng kanilang donasyon. Ang lahat na nakuha naming pera ay ibinigay namin sa Mangyan Mission - Integral Development & Advocacy na siyang magbibigay ng tulong sa isang komunidad ng katutubong Mangyan sa Sitio Paraiso, San Ignacio, Baco.

Kabilang sa mga ibibigay sa mga residente ay mga hygiene packs, relief goods, at punlang pananim dahil lubhang nasira ng mga bagyong Quinta at Rolly ang tanim nila roon. Daing ng ating mga kababayang Mangyan ang panghihinayang sa kanilang pananim dahil taon ang bibilangin bago ulit sila magkaroon ng ani.

Huwang po sana tayong magsawang tumulong sa mga kababayan nating nangangailangan. Maraming salamat po!

Academic ease now!

We, the UP Sanlahi Alliance, representing the Filipinos of different backgrounds, firmly ask for academic ease.

We stand with our fellow students, especially those in the provinces who are affected by the calamities that recently brought extensive damage not only to infrastructures, but also to the conduciveness for learning and the students' mental capacity to focus on academics amidst these issues.

As an institution that prides itself for its service to the Filipino people, we ask the University to heed the cries of the students. We are asking for your compassion and empathy to give the students time to recuperate for their wellbeing and coordinate to help with relief efforts. In this regard, we strongly demand academic ease starting from November 16 to November 21.

The UP Sanlahi Alliance will not back down in our purpose to fight for unity and solidarity, now more than ever, as we beckon that and .
